TSB Recognized as ‘Best Place to Work’ by the Hartford Business Journal
Torrington Savings Bank has been selected as one of the Best Places to Work in the small/medium sized businesses by the Hartford Business Journal – the first time for the Bank.
Hartford Business Journal partners with the Best Companies group, a third-party research group to identify and recognize top employers in the state by administering anonymous surveys to Bank employees. Companies are ranked by responses in the categories of benefits, work life balance, flexibility, growth & development. Those companies that rank high in employee engagement are recognized as a Best Place to Work.
The Bank was recognized at an awards event held on Thursday, March 2 at the Aqua Turf in Southington.
Lesa Vanotti, President & CEO of Torrington Savings Bank, stated “We are honored to be recognized for the work we’ve done in recent years to improve our employee experience. This recognition is a tribute to the hard work done by our human resource team, our management team and our employees who are at the heart of our ability to serve our communities.”
Kathleen Katrenya, Senior Vice President, Administrative Officer added, “The team has worked hard to listen to the employees and put in place employment practices that will not only help retain existing employees, but also attract new employees. It’s wonderful to have our efforts rewarded.”
