Torrington Saving Bank Promotes Jennifer Marchand to Executive Vice President
Torrington Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Marchand to Executive Vice President, Treasurer, CFO & Asst. Secretary.
Jennifer’s expertise has grown exponentially at TSB since joining the Bank in 2010 as a Staff Accountant. During her tenure she has progressively gained more responsibility and has held titles of Accounting Officer, Assistant Treasurer, and Vice President and Controller. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Accounting from CCSU, and an MBA from the University of Hartford.
Throughout her tenure, Jennifer has focused on continuous process improvement and efficiencies in her functional areas. As she assumed the role of CFO in 2020, her span of oversight expanded to the Purchasing, Facilities, Deposit Operations, and Product and Service development areas. Her direct approach to performance and process management continues to support the Bank’s focus on operational excellence and providing best in class products.
Jennifer serves as the Treasurer of The W.L. Gilbert Trust Corporation, is a Board member of Friends of Troop 3, and serves on the Advisory Council of the Women’s Business Development Council. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the CTCPA, and was a 2022 Hartford Business Journal Women in Business honoree.
